What is FTC?

FTC is designed for students in grades 7-12 to compete head to head. Teams are responsible for designing and building more complex robots with advanced programming techniques to compete in an alliance format against other teams.

How to Register

Teams can register for the West Virginia State Championship event starting September 10th at noon.

What about the Robot?

Teams construct a robot using a variety of pieces from various manufacturers. Click here for a large but not all-inclusive list of legal and illegal parts.

Qualifiers and Tournaments

West Virginia does not have FTC Qualifiers, instead, FTC teams can go straight to the West Virginia FTC State Championship! The state championship is held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Fairmont State University. More details about this event will be posted as the season continues.
